He is such a happy baby and we are so greatfull for him in our family. His brothers and sisters fight over who gets to hold him every mourning when he wakes up. He has a smile that will light up any room. He just started eating rice cereal & it only took 2 weeks to like it. He still shivers sometimes. Some of the sounds he makes are Mama, dada, nana, bah bah. He loves to play peekaboo with his blanket and can clap! he is getting sooooo BIG ;(

To Family & Friends,

So my little sister Jaymie has not had the easiest road in life, when it comes to her health.From losing her site in one eye, to ticks, to mysterious pain and agony. ( I am not going to expound upon that any further… if I wrote all her illnesses we would be here for an hr.) But this coming week and the next few weeks my loving mother is taking Jaymie to the MAYO Clinic in Arizona. This is her last shot to find out what is wrong with her. So please join me and my family in a special fast this Sunday for Jaymie & the doctors so that they will be able to help Jaymie and find out how to make her life better, and easier for her to endure. I know not everyone is religious or spiritual but what ever you believe in or call upon lets all join together to help my little sister I love sooooo much! On 1/1/11 Camden Dee Kesler came into the word weighing 8 pd 1 oz & was 22 in. He was the new years baby for our hospital so we got a lot of free stuff. Not bad for 3 hrs of labor and 3 short pushes. Not to mention all natural!

Every year my parents host a pumpkin carving contest. It is super fun, we eat chillie and carve amazing pumpkins. This year I go the try again award. I dont know about you but I think my cat is super cute. The kids all got prizes for there amazing pumpkins. Brett won last year but bailed on us to home-teach this year... LAME! He was afraid to lose. Trista took the grand prize this year with the statue of liberty!

This year I have 3 kids in school. Every Tues.. and Thurs. I have a whole hr. to my self. It is weird how quiet the house seems. But that will all end in a few months any way :) Maycee started 2nd grade, & our neighbor is her teacher she is sooooo excited. Bostin is in P.M. Kindergarden with the same teacher Maycee had (hopeful she will not compare them) Then last but not lease Ripken is in Pre-School. He is going to the same teacher Maycee & Bostin had, he loves it he is so board with out Bostin.

So when Brett is away I dont know why but it inspires me to do projects.... not cleaning or any crazy thing like that . Painting projects. My parents took the kids camping so I had the evening to my self so I invited over my sisters & we got to work. Maycee has cute flower bedding with zebra sheets. But this will just finish off the look.

I love animal print & Maycee has inherited that trait. We saw a room with a zebra wall so I just started in the middle and free handed it. I think for not having a clue that it turned out awesome!

I cant believe that it has been ten years! It has gone by so fast, of course part of that is being married to such an amazing man. Brett is everything I wanted & all the thing I never knew i needed in my life. He makes me a better person every day & is an amazing father to our children. I am seriously excited for the next ten years. We have accomplished a lot together & have 3 (4 in Dec) wounderful kids. (in ten years Maycee will be 18 I hope I will still be singing the same tune:))This year for our anniversary we went to Arkansas Fayetteville, then went to Nashville Tennessee. Brett had to work so I joined him. It was sun to hang out with Nicole and Katie in Fayettevilee, and Kelsi and all the wives in Tennasee. We even went to a lste movie step up three, in 3 D

Island Park was as beautiful as ever this year, lot of sun and fun. Not so much sun for me I still felt like crap but it was still fun. Every one skied a lot, played games, and went on a hike. This year we got an additional cabin where everyone had a room it was heavenly. With 15 adults and the kids out numbering them we have a Big crew. This year for our activity we played min. to win it, it was really fun. BY the end of the week we were all really tired

My parents got a trailer, so of course Brett & I being the only campers in the family went to Anaconda camping in style. It was really fun we went fishing sat around the campfire & watched Brett play softball. The kids loved it. The 1st mourning when Ripken work up he comes over to our bed while he is giggling the whole way and says..."Hey I slept in the trailer" He basically thought he was the bomb.

Grandpa is a master fisherman, he helped the kids catch this fish & 5 more in 45 min.

4th of July

This 4th of July we were actually at home and it was soo fun. Maycee was in the parade with dance addiction & the kids made a haul of candy. We had a BBQ @ our house then went to I.F. to watch the fireworks & stay at the hilton there. I think the fire works just get better and better every year.

I thought Maycee would for sure cry but she was strong. It was funny @ the ultrasound Ripken said whats that a monster, as we were being shown the baby. And Brett said no its your brother, and he said "my brothers a monster". Every one laughed and now I will never look @ ultrasounds the same :)

We are so excited that summer is finally here! We have missed the sun and the happiness that it brings to every one in our house. And with not feeling well it is great to be able to send the kids outside to play & get the months of energy built up out :)

T-Ball

Bostin is playing T-Ball this summer (if you can call all the bad weather summer) Bostin is very serious about his t-ball. He gets everyone out @ 1st and home. He doesnt know that they don't keep score :) My favorite is the fact that he likes to be 1st batter so he can get a double. He doesn't like that you can only run to 1st base if he follows someone. Then my next favorite thing is the fact that he slides in to 2nd, 3rd & home. He is loving every second of it.

Dont worry Bostin got that little girl out. He even did the sign when the boy on 1st caught it :)

First I would just like to thank my family (Mom, Dad, Mark, Jaymie, & the Sponenburghs) Bretts parents (Kelly & MarvaLu) our neighbors the McWhorters for all going to her end of the year recital. I was unable to go due to the fact I couldn't get out of bed :) Brett took a lot of great pictures though, so I thought I would highlight some of the cute faces Maycee makes while dancing ;)

Sick in Bed, and sick of bed

Life has been pretty interesting at our house lately. It has been full of needle poking and I.V. giving. Super fun but most of you also know what that means we are going to have another baby! (Mark my words it also will be the LAST)

4 is just the right number plus I can not do this again. I have lost 12 pounds and get sick 12 to 20 times a day. I know a dream come true but such is life for me :) I get a new I.V. site every monday then flush it 3 times a day so I can give my self another I.V. full of fluid on thursday. I also have a medicine pump that I wear and have to move every day. So every day get poked in a new spot, Brett is really gentle with it though. The 1st time I though he was going to pass out but 2 weeks later and he is a pro. I still don't let him watch me remove my I.V. though :)

(Thanks for all the comments and support I am due Jan. 1st 2011 Maybe I will have the new year baby! And yes I have got this sick with the last two babies so I have no more doubt what is to come ;) No more maybe this time it will be different)

May 19th my 30th b-day

So on May 19th I turned the Big 30, & My husband threw me a big surprise party! He is so cute he ordered Cafe Rio, invited all our neighborhood friends , even got my mom to decorate the tables.

He even got a tent because it had been raining & was freezing but awesome in the tent!

All my gifts from the day! What a ahll & yes I now have a set of Le creuset pans!!! YEAH!

All in all it was the Best Birthday ever! Thanks Brett Love you!

My husband is super handy! The kids call him handy daddy (like handy manny) But I thought Maybe this was to much for even handy daddy!

But in the end nothing is too tough for handy daddy, it only took 2 days and he finished it. Just in time for my Birthday! And even through the rain ,there has not been a day it has gone un-used. Thanks babe ;)

Mother's day was great as always, Maycee made me a cute frame and pic with a poem from school. Before I opened it she said i think you might cry, she knows me all to well. Rip made a cute card with a picture at school as well then Brett helped them spoil me with slippers, clothes & money for the girls weekend!

This year after mothers day, we had a girls weekend! It was super fun. We ate we shopped what more can you ask for. Ow yeah & great company!

Fancy Nancy

My mom has a special day once a month... or so, with different grandkids. They really look forward to it. This time it was Maycee & Pyper and they had a Fancy Nancy Party! They had a butterfly tea party. So Maycee spent the whole day before picking out the perfect outfit and the perfect Jewelry. We didnt have the perfect hair accessory so I made one for her and Pyper!

Maycee wanted to be an azure butterfly but settled for a petty skirt and butterfly dress we had.

I will post pics of it soon... But Nanni had decorated the dinning room with lots of feather boas and big puffy flowers from the ceiling. There were butterfly crystals hanging from the chandelier. It was the fanciest room I had ever seen it was .... Magnifique, every thing sounds fancier in french!

They had pink hot coco, butterfly shaped sandwiches (provided by me), cupcakes, and sparkling cider. All served on the most beautiful crystal plates. Maycee eat every second of it up. She , much like me really appreciates a great display, and going way more than the extra mile. Thanks Mom she LOVED it!!

For easter this year, Brett needed to go to St. George so we decided to make a trip of it. I Love southern utah. It reminds me of the 1st two years of marriage. I love the sun, and it was so sunny, which we haven't seen in a while. We had easter in a hotel, the kids still love it no matter where you are we saw the Bagleys , Grandpa Mackay, & my parents came too. It was a blast. I will post some pics when I download them :)

Junior Miss 2011

Junior Miss this year was so fun! Our theme was My Fair Lady, and our Stage designers (Natalie, Wendi, & Trista) did an amazing job as always even though, Wendi had her baby 2 days before the program. But her new baby boy is so cute! I think the night of the program is bitter sweet. I know it will be the last time I get to see a lot of them :( You spend so much time together, fot the last 3 months, it is strange not to see them every week. I also love seeing the girls from the year before, so hence the bitter sweet night.

So today I went to the grocery store on the way home from picking up bostin from preschool. It was just a quick trip to grab milk and sugar cookie cookie dough. I of course am not quite ready for the day, my hair is wet. But, I did work out and get a shower in so we are on the right track.

So Ripken, Bostin, & I go into this cute family owned gracery staore in town that has mini shopping carts. SO I only need 2 things so I let them take the carts. All is going well, we get the items we check out. At check out Ripken throws his 1st fit. He wants a baby bottle pop. Why do grocery stores hate moms... Why are all those shelves filled with candy? I know it is just to punish me ;) So i pick him up and set him on the counter while I pay... and of course he is screaming baby bottle pop. Well I get him calmed down with the promise of pushing his cart out of the store. WE make it to the middle of the two automatic doors where we are going to leave our cart and carry our 4 bags, because I couldn't just buy the 2 things..

Where once again. A line of toys, this time bouncy balls for just 75 cents...fit number 2... Ball please mommy is all I can hear. I say no and start walking out of the doors. Bostin who is at my side is trying to bribe his brother to come out and I am just standing there wishing every one in our town was not starring at me. As Rip is jumping up and down and not moving. The doors close, which really helps the situation and Bostin runs around and re opens them. So I go in and try to grab Rips arm and nicely escort him out of the store we make it to the out side of the door when he decides to go limp.. You all know the move I am talking about, so I am trying to carry milk, 4 bags and a big orange juice and a 30 ld. child. I drop my grocery's right in the middle of the parking lot. Tuck Rip under my arm and yell to Bostin COME ON... Bostin starts yelling what about my toaster waffles?? Please DONT LEAVE MY FOOD!!! I say I will go get them when we get to the car. Once at the car I start buckling in Rip who is straitening his body so you cant get his buckle on.... when I feel a tap on the shoulder some nice man has my groceries in his arms. He says "you look like you could use a hand" I want to yell "YOU THINK" but instead I say thank you so much.. It really was nice of him :) He says " I remember days like that" and I thought to my self I wish I could say that too. But this is my life.

So to make my self feel better I finished a craft project. I recovered Jaymies chairs for her kitchen table.

So I know every parent think their baby is the cutest baby ever BUT I took it one step farther. I entered Ripkens picture in to the regis and kelly beautiful baby contest. I know that it is a long shot but they had his picture on twice, I entered the 1st one and my sister Trista entered the second. She actually think he is cuter than I do! ;)

Hawaii

This year Pinnacle took us to Hawaii. We stayed @ the Grand Wailea, it is the most beautiful resort! I love the spa there with the 8 different showers, 6 different aroma pools, and many other hot and cold pools. It is heaven on earth, especially when it is for FREE!!

The worst part of the trip is the long flight!! Brett and his teddy don't mind ;)

Boys Weekend

This year the Kesler's started the 1st of hopefully many more boys weekends in Island Park. The guys took the 4 wheelers and sleds up to the cabin. It was hard picking pictures to post. The guys let the kids take a bunch of pictures so there were a lot to choose from :) They stayed for 2 days and I am sure there was a lot of farting, eating and laughing! Hopefully not in that order;)

While they boys had there fun Cami and her girls came to stay with us! It was so fun to have them. Maycee misses Savanah when she isn't around maycee has no girl friends her age:( Us girls didn't even miss the boys. We did craft projects, Zumba, and laughed a lot our selves :)

After all my hard work with the pageant, I earned a weekend of fun, so Brett & I went away with our friends the Ashtons & the Hoopes. It was sooo Fun.

I don't know why but suddenly Brett is a hunter. This fall he decided to get one more hobby. He added hunting to the very long list. He shot his first Deer. Then Pinnacle took them on a trip to a hunting ranch in Texas.

So the Sponenburgs , Brett, & I are sitting at the table enjoying dinner together as we like to do a few times a week, and suddenly we hear. CRASH, BOOM, BANG, & CRASH again.

This is what we found.

My wall of black & leopard drapes are on the ground. Then we see Pyper side stepping away like she had no part in it. Then as I walk in the room Maycee is stuck in the drapes twirled up. Frozen in fear. They were so lucky that the rod didn't hit them .

I love how handy my husband is. I love that when the drapes fall I don't have to wait for the people to fix it. Brett & Brad jumped right on it :)

The only good part of this experience is how cute my son Ripken is. He was sitting in his high chair still eating and had a perfect view of the accident. He just kept repeating over and over, HOLY COW HOLY COW, Maycee & Pyper & HOLY COW! Even now as I write this post he climbed on my lap and pointed and said it again. He is too cute . So we had another amazing reunion at Bear Lake! I love it there. My Mom has gone there since she was a little girl and now it has a big spot in my heat as well . We did all the usual, boating, mini golf, playground, video scavenger hunt, Jeopardy, dingelballs, corn hole, tennis, wacky 6, story time, diving off the diving board, & croquette .

Kesler Reunion 2009

In Early July we had another fun & kid filled Kesler family reunion . It is so pretty in island park I can see why they all love it there.

Every mourning it is foggy because it is so freaking cold there even the water is warmer than the air. When the boys take their early mourning ski run.

4th of July

Project Time

So I don't know if every ones husband is like this, but my husband cant just sit around . He is all ways doing projects. So a month or so ago this was the Saturday project!

They dug a huge hole. They being Brett & Brad our brother in law Brad.

Then they put a pond liner & pump down, & filled it with big river rocks. Then moved the rock with the wench on the 4 wheeler.

Then they filled in the big rocks with little rocks, & put rubber mulch on top.

Tadah!! The finished project. Now we have a beautiful waterfall in the front of our house too. My husband is soooo AMAZING!

We had this rock drilled when we put in our yard then decided not to put it in, Brett said he would do it himself, and boy he followed through. Brett is very handy and can figure out anything he "wants" to do. :) If you know what I'm saying.

Hot Glue

I never knew what you can do with Hot glue. My sewing machine broke and I needed to make a orphan costume for my little girls singing group, so I used the Hot Glue Gun!

I think they will be so cute in their little costumes. The concert is Sat. 5 p.m. @ the high school auditorium. They are singing a hard knock life. (the song with daddy warbucks and annie) Not someting any family member will want to miss ;) The theme for the Tavaci concert is all for one, the kids sing 5 or so songs. Maycee, Bostin, & Pyper all do it together, I am excited the christmas concert was priceless. And I am sure this one will compare. I will post pics after it.

So one great thing about being in the country is the beautiful view, but we also value the lives of our small children. So when they filled the canal this spring I told Brett it is time for a fence. Of course I want a nice black metal fence, and he wants no fence. So the compromise was a fence that we will take down in a few years. I know, its ugly but what do you do.

Final 4 & Easter

So Brett got the chance of a life time and went to the final 4. Pinnacle sponsors ISU & they gave them the tickets.. So nice of them :)

There were lots of Famous people at the games. They also saw the Pussy Cat Dolls, every wives dream... And Fergi not to mention allot of sports people I dont care about :) So I wont bore you with them ;) But I do know that is Magic Johnson & Larry Bird 33

Easter was a blast.. Ripken was so cute, he had 13 jelly beans in his mouth when we made him spit them out... Sooo funny
Then we had an Easter egg hunt it was so fun, and sunny as you can tell :) The kids have the cutes Easter outfits that they also wore to Jaymies wedding this weekend. But on Easter I had just had a surgery for a little hernia and I didn't get photos because I wasn't thinking right with all the drugs :) But I will post pictures of Jaymies wedding and it will be a repeat of Easter Soon!

New Beginnings

So this week was our New Beginnings for Young women's. It is where we welcome in the girls who are turning 12, & will be moving up to the Young Women's organization in our church. Our there was follow in his footsteps. What girl doesn't relate to shoes!!

I was in charge of the treat so I printed off all these pictures of shoes and glued them to toothpicks. Then stuck them in the cupcakes. They turned out amazing ;)

I love being involved in our young women's. Our young women are amazing girls, I think they teach me more than I teach them :) We got the idea for the night from sugar doodle, it is such a great site! Of course we did it our way!! So if you think I have been ignoring you, don't worry its not just you. I have been totally busy the last 3 months with Junior Miss. Rachelle asked me to be her co-chair & it has been really fun. The girls were great to work with (even at 6 am practice). And it keeps me busy, and I could all ways use some thing to do ;) It was fun, & I am glad it is done. Yeah

We went to the Rascal Flats & Jessica Simpson concert. It was soo fun they put on a great concert!

We went with Trista & Brad,Jole & Michelle Ashton, This pic is a little close of Brett & I! It was a great concert if you haven't ever seen them, they put on a great show, worth going to. We also went to the melting pot for dinner I love that place. Ummm Fondue

Some things never change! Brett will always be on the phone for work & Bostin will always fall asleep in random places even on a shoulder ride. Classic!

We had a great time even with the rain, you just cant beat the happiest place on earth. The kids loved it & we had a great time with My sister Trista, Brad, Mackay,Pyper, & my Parents Mark & Marcee. I think it was a great Birthday for my mom. And Jaymie was the best baby sitter ever for Ripken. Thanks Jaymie

Last year we went to Disney World while Bretts little sister (Kelsi) was working there. It was sooo fun the kids loved it. And now for my Moms birthday my family is going to Disney Land. So I thought I would get pumped by posting some of those pics.

Ripken is staying home again, it is hard to leave him but we just wouldn't enjoy it with him. Thanks Jaymie for watching him..We will miss you (being in school stinks) :)

Bonnie (Pentelute) Horne
HORNE, Bonnie (Pentelute) Beloved wife of John Gerald Horne, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on January 21, after a decade-long courageous battle with cancer at age 70. Bonnie's struggle against her illness was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her strength, wisdom and humor. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Michelle, Scott, Leslie, Allison and Tristan; her siblings Melanie, Barbie, David and Mark; and her 16 beautiful grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday January 24th at St. Paul's Church, 15 St. Paul St. Brookline (stpaulsbrookline.org) In lieu of flowers, Bonnie wished that donations be made in her memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

I just wanted to say that I am so grateful that this summer Brett's work took us to Boston so I could see my aunt Bonnie who we all call Mickey( she also would all ways correct us that it is Aunt not ant :) ). She is an amazing and strong woman. She has a great sense of humor & reminds me the most of my father, who she helped raise. I always look forward to her once a year visit and she will be greatly missed. But she leaves behind a great legacy & I know some day I will be able to see her again in the afterlife. I know right now she is having a great reunion with her mother, father, & sister Sherry. And that she is now and will forever be looking down on us especially her children and grand children. She has been an amazing example to her family of courage and knowledge. Because of her our family knows we carry the cancer gen and are more prepared for prevention. Our family will all miss her xoxo. (I will load a pic when I find one)

So for Bretts 30th Birthday I wanted to take him on a trip and the only thing I think is a vacation would be when Bretts phone is not ringing so i had to take him all the way to Tahiti to make that happen. ( I use the word had lightly) :) Can i just say 8 days of no calls it was like a glimpse of heaven.

So I will just tell the whole story. I planed this amazing trip with out Bretts knowledge & surprised him on Christmas day with the details. So on Dec. 28th we set off to Tahiti. After a long day of missed flights we arrived to Tahitti safe & sound. At the airport as you get off the plane they hand out flowers and have people performing. It was just a small sign of how amazing this place was. So that night we stayed at the intercontinental hotel. It was beautiful & sooo hot. Then after a morning by the pool we flew to Moreea a 10 min. flight on a very small plane. In Morea we stayed in a beach bungalow it was so beautiful. There we stayed for 3 days, golfed, relaxed, swam with the dolphins, & brought in the new year Tahitian style. Then we flew to Bora Bora (40 min flight) it was our fav. island. There we stayed at the tholossal Intercontinental, one of the nicest places I have ever been. We stayed in this amazing & huge over the water hut. What an experience. There we snorkeled with sharks, swam with sea rays, took advantage of the amazing spa, & fell in love with macaroons. They had the most amazing french food & it was a good thing they had a gym too. :) It was a trip of a life time. Brett & I had the most amazing time, not just because of where we were but it was amazing to get to just talk to each other for 8 days. But the second we got home it has been straight back to business. Brett is soo busy with pinnacle & I am co chair of junior miss & just started to teach ballroom again. But the break was nice and now we can make it through the rest of the crazy year. Hope you all had as happy new year as we did ;) .

Boss is such a sweet heart, he also is very enthusiastic like his dad. I love watching him open presents he gets so pumped. But also on the other end he get really sad to, but mostly just happy. All he wanted was a sonic video game for his birthday, good thing he got it :) He is such a joy to have in our home, it just wouldn't be the same with out him. Happy Birthday Boss xoxox

It was confusing there was another Jaymie in the pageant and she got 2nd runner up (she has on the white dress and red hair), you hear that name and wait for the last name... Funny. Jaymie did such a great job and got 1st runner up! Our Jaymie that is :)

They have really cool Judges for this pageant Donald Trump is in charge so they had three people from the apprentice. Alex, Kendra, & James. The others in the picture are Brad Trista hubby, Brett, & Mark Jaymie's boy toy ;)

We had an amazing get together for Ripkens 1st birthday! We had it all Rip cakes (thanks Ashley), pin the tale on the donkey, a pinata, & to top it all off a silly string fight. What more could you ask for, thanks to all our family and friends for coming & letting us know how much you love us. Ripkin was so cute. He loved it all the presents, cake , & most of all all the kids.

My favorite things about Ripken right now are: how he gets so excited about food, he flexes his little hands and squeals , how he calls all animals dogs, how he growls at animals because that is the sound they make, how Maycee & Bostin make him laugh like no one else can. :)
